Job summary

Great Dane is seeking a Maintenance Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems on production machines. You will work under the Maintenance Supervisor to keep equipment running safely and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

No prior experience required; two shifts available (6:00AM-2:30PM and 3:30PM-12:00AM) with overtime and a starting wage from $17/hour to $23/hour plus $2/hour night shift premium.

• Able to perform the physical requirements listed in the job description.

Responsibilities

• Listen for unusual sounds from machines and discuss operation with supervisors to diagnose problems.
• Diagnose and test machines to determine root causes of malfunctions.
• Dismantle machines to access problem areas and install new or repaired parts.
• Inspect parts for wear, misalignment, or other issues.
• Repair and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems and machine components.
• Set up and operate tools to repair or fabricate parts.
• Read schematics/blueprints as needed.
• Maintain and repair pipe systems and related equipment.
• Perform routine lubrication and cleaning of machinery.
