Job summary

Advanced Technology Services (ATS) is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventive maintenance in a manufacturing setting in New Hampshire. You will diagnose issues, repair machinery, and support continuous improvement efforts on the shop floor.

The role requires strong electrical and mechanical knowledge, hands-on tooling skills, and the ability to work independently while complying with safety standards and 5S practices.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
• Associate degree with a technical focus and 3 years of related experience in general industry; or 5 years of related experience in general industry or successful completion of the ATS Technician Progression Program.
• Understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems; ability to analyze problems and perform repairs.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.
• May be required to travel.

Responsibilities

• Performs mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance, locating root causes and repairing parts.
• Identifies and sources parts, supplies and repair items as necessary.
• Independently performs maintenance per industry standards.
• Sets up and operates machining tools (lathe, drill press, grinder) and may weld parts.
• Follows 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Drives CI activities and tracks cost savings.
• Updates CMMS history and records.
• Troubleshoots control systems to resolve software/hardware issues.
• Uses predictive maintenance data to monitor equipment performance.
• Mentors lower level technicians and participates in training.
