Job summary

Advanced Technology Services (ATS) is seeking a skilled maintenance technician in Greenwood, SC to perform mid-to-expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment. You will identify parts, perform repairs, and support small teams while adhering to safety and 5S standards.

The role involves reading schematics, troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and control systems, and potentially operating machining tools and welding tasks. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree with a technical focus and 3 years of related experience in general industry; or 5 years of related experience.
• Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.
• Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance.
• Identify and source parts, supplies and repair items as necessary.
• Set up and operate machining operations; welding tasks may be required.
• Follow 5S, housekeeping standards and CI activities.
• Update CMMS records and analyze control systems to resolve issues.
