Job summary

Advanced Technology Services (ATS) seeks an experienced maintenance specialist to perform expert break-fix and preventive maintenance on complex equipment in a factory setting. You will diagnose root causes, source parts, and implement cost-saving reliability improvements while adhering to safety standards.

The role requires knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and fluid power systems, with experience in predictive technologies and precision alignments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Associates degree with a technical focus (preferred) and 5 years of related experience, or 7 years of experience in the industry.
• Experience with predictive technologies and precision alignments.
• Understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems.
• Ability to use basic and specialized tools as appropriate.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance to locate root causes and repair devices.
• Identify and source parts; evaluate alternatives to improve cost and reliability.
• Independently perform maintenance per industry standards.
• Collaborate with Planner Scheduler to optimize preventive procedures.
• Operate or set up machining tasks (lathe, drill press, grinder) as needed; may weld.
• Follow 5S and housekeeping standards; lead CI activities.
• Support training of junior technicians and participate in team projects.
• Troubleshoot complex control systems; analyze software/hardware issues.
• Use predictive maintenance data to monitor equipment performance and trends.
• Maintain CMMS records and data analysis; complete training for career development.
• Follow all safety policies and report unsafe conditions.
