Job summary

Advanced Technology Services in Augusta, GA is seeking a maintenance technician ready to perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment. You will observe operations, dismantle devices, replace parts, test performance and contribute to tool reconditioning.

You will identify parts, set up machining operations when needed, maintain 5S standards, and update CMMS history. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• Technical Associate degree with 3 years related experience, or 5 years related experience in general industry.
• Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.
• May be required to travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance.
• Identify and source parts, supplies and repair items.
• Set up and operate machining operations; welding tasks may be needed.
• Maintain 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Update CMMS history and participate in CI activities.
• Troubleshoot control systems to resolve software/hardware issues.
• Use predictive maintenance technologies to collect data.
• Assist lower level technicians and lead small teams.
