Drury Plaza Hotel - 88 East Nationwide Blvd., Columbus, Ohio is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep the property safe and well maintained. You will perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and building systems, and support guest experience with prompt service.

Qualifications

• Advanced maintenance knowledge across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
• Ability to dismantle equipment to repair or replace defective parts.
• Knowledge of water chemistry, water testing, filtration for pool maintenance.
• Experience implementing preventative maintenance programs in a hotel setting.
• Fluent English communication and ability to follow written/verbal directions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe and smooth-running hotel property and grounds.
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on systems like plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment and HVAC.
• Carry out light carpentry, painting, vinyl and drywall repairs.
• Implement safety programs and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Keep detailed records and reports.
• Provide ongoing training to Maintenance Tech I team members.
• Collaborate with management to recruit for department needs.
• Contribute to guest experience through courteous service.
