Job summary

Presbyterian Village North is hiring Maintenance Tech II Teammates for the day shift, Monday through Friday, to help maintain our luxury senior living community in Dallas. You’ll perform routine maintenance on heating, cooling, plumbing, electrical, and related systems.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a valid Texas driver’s license, and 2+ years of building maintenance experience. Strong safety awareness and the ability to read and follow manufacturer instructions are

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED is required.
Valid Texas driver’s license and clear driving record.
2+ years of maintenance work with building maintenance.
Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and safety.
Ability to read and comprehend manufacturer instructions.
Ability to work without direct supervision.
Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English.

Responsibilities

Day to day routine maintenance of heating, refrigeration, air conditioning, and ventilation.
Assist in establishment of routine preventative maintenance program for all physical plant areas and equipment.
Repair and install plumbing, electrical, floor tile, ceiling tile and various furniture items, such as: washers, valve systems, faucets, toilet rings, drains, sockets, light fixtures, photo cells, changing filters, etc.
Assist with painting, when necessary.
Assist with inclement weather protection and repair (de-ice parking lots, etc.).
Maintain record keeping of completed work and preventative maintenance files.
Models a service and solutions oriented attitude towards others, takes ownership in solving problems and takes the initiative to make things better, is friendly and courteous to residents, patients and co-workers.
Ensure resident/patient, visitor, and co-worker safety by remaining aware of and reporting any new or existing safety hazards.
