Job summary

QVC Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Tech II to support QVC and HSN at the Bethlehem, PA fulfillment center. The role is onsite with a Sunday-Wednesday night shift from 6:00 PM to 4:30 AM, reporting to the Area Manager.

You will perform general facility repairs, preventative maintenance on production equipment and conveyors, and assist with safety and 5S practices. 6 months to 3 years in mechanical/electrical systems and a high school diploma are required, with on-call availability.

Qualifications

• 6 months - 3 years' experience with mechanical and electrical systems in a fast-paced production environment.
• High School graduate or equivalent; industrial trades certification or military training.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals.
• Familiarity with blueprints and engineering specifications.
• On-call availability, and ability to work days or nights, weekends and overtime.
• Prefer knowledge of voltage meters and AC/DC systems.

Responsibilities

• Building Maintenance – general facility repairs including plumbing, electrical, lighting, HVAC, and wall repair.
• Equipment Maintenance – planned/unplanned repairs, preventative maintenance, and safety hazard checks.
• Conveyor, Automation and Sorter Systems – repairs and maintenance to conveyors and sorter equipment.
• Electrical – understand AC and DC systems and use a voltage meter; follow lock out/tag out policy.
• Safety / Facility Cleanliness – maintain 5S and safe, organized work areas daily.
