Job summary

Skyline at First Hill in Seattle is seeking a Maintenance Tech II to join Transforming Age, a nonprofit community for older adults. The role involves performing routine and project maintenance, reading blueprints, and supporting facility upgrades.

The position is full-time with competitive benefits and a pay range of $22–$30 per hour depending on experience. Responsibilities include handling plumbing, electrical, carpentry and mechanical tasks, organizing materials, and reporting urgent repairs

Qualifications

• Able to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
• Formal vocational training or trade apprenticeship completed.
• Minimum 2 years of building maintenance experience.
• Good reading/writing in English and attention to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks across plumbing, electrical, carpentry and mechanical systems.
• Review blueprints, prepare materials, and follow work orders with schedules.
• Respond to building emergencies and report needs to supervisor.
• Conduct daily rounds and document system checks and issues.
