Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Tech II for the Belleville, MI facility. The role involves supporting planning, scheduling and preventive maintenance across water treatment, refrigeration, boilers, and HVAC systems in a multi-craft environment.

Strong troubleshooting, PLC, and refrigeration experience are essential, with compliance to SQF, GMPs and LOTO. The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, HVAC certs, Mechatronics Levels 1–4, and 3–5 years of manufacturing maintenance

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required; HVAC cert preferred.
Mechatronics Certifications Levels 1–4 completed.
3–5 years hands-on maintenance in a manufacturing setting.
Experience with Ammonia/HVAC and refrigerant systems.
Knowledge of SQF, GMPs, LOTO and Lean manufacturing.
Experience with MIG and TIG welding and metal fabrication.

Responsibilities

Supports planning, scheduling and maintenance activities.
Maintains water treatment, refrigeration, boiler functions and HVAC systems.
Keeps regulatory and compliance records for all systems.
Performs routine and emergency maintenance of utilities in a multi-craft environment.
Ensures PMs and work orders are completed promptly.
Adheres to safety accountability in self and others.
