Diversus Health in Colorado Springs, CO is hiring a Maintenance Technician II for full-time day shift. The role maintains and repairs facilities, HVAC units, and building systems to keep equipment and spaces safe and functional.

You will perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and coordinate vendor visits on a dynamic behavioral health campus. Required 3+ years in maintenance with strong carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall, and painting skills, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the maintenance field.
• Strong mechanical ability including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall and refurbishing.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Good interpersonal skills; able to work with diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to perform duties with high accuracy and in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid Driver's License with clean MVR.
• Ability to obtain necessary maintenance licensing.

Responsibilities

• Perform general inspections and maintenance on electrical, plumbing, masonry, roofing, HVAC, and related systems.
• Execute electrical repairs on fixtures, switches, outlets, and lighting.
• Handle plumbing tasks including clearing stoppages and fittings.
• Carpentry work such as doors, windows, shelves.
• Drywall installation, repair, patching, texturing, and painting.
• Maintain records on preventive maintenance, work orders, and inspections.
• Locate water, gas valves, and safety equipment; follow safety procedures.
• Coordinate vendor visits and on-call maintenance as required.

Job Details: Job Location: Colorado Springs Area - Colorado Springs, CO 80906, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $19.81 - $25.00 Hourly, Job Shift: Day, Join Diversus Health as a Maintenance Technician II and help keep our facilities safe, functional, and welcoming for the people we serve. This full-time, non-exempt role, is expected to keeps equipment, buildings, and machinery operating safely and efficiently through routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. Performs proactive preventative maintenance and inspections on building systems, HVAC units, machinery, and fixtures at each facility. Perform monthly life safety and maintenance inspections, Executes prompt repairs. Coordinates vendor and contractor visits and repairs. Investigate alarms. Is available for scheduled on-call maintenance duties during weekends and after-hours

Key responsibilities include:

Essential Functions:

• Performs general inspections, repairs, and maintenance to electrical, plumbing, concrete, masonry, roofing, HVAC, parking lots and fence systems as required including
• Electrical repairs on items such as fixtures, switches, outlets, light bulbs
• Plumbing: clearing stoppages, fittings, flush valves, garbage disposal, ice makers etc.
• Carpentry such as fitting doors, windows, replacing and building shelves
• Drywall installation, repair, patching and texturing, and painting
• General cleaning and repair
• Records and reports on preventive maintenance, work orders, annual inspections, inventories and safety procedures
• Acquires knowledge of locations of water and gas valves, back flows, sprinkler and parking lot time clocks, and fire extinguishers
• Maintains safety practices and reports unsafe working conditions
• Keep tools and equipment clean, organized, and in good condition

This position works across settings in a dynamic behavioral health environment. Evening, weekend, and scheduled after-hours coverage may be required based on operational needs. A primary work site will be designated, but the role may be temporarily or permanently assigned to other Diversus Health locations to support facility coverage and organizational initiatives. Reasonable notice will be provided whenever possible.
