Job summary

Windsor Windows & Doors, a division of Woodgrain, is seeking an entry-level Maintenance associate in Monroe, NC. You will repair and install equipment, perform PMs, and support manufacturing operations on the 2nd shift.

Responsibilities include repairing pumps, gear reducers, motors and conveyors; wiring and electrical controls; using hand and power tools; lifting up to 100 lbs; and maintaining safety and quality on the line. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Entry-level maintenance position; not climate controlled; safety-minded.
• Must have an organized approach to identifying root causes and solving problems.
• Willing to learn on the job with on-site training.

Responsibilities

• Repair equipment including pumps, gear reducers, seals, bearings, blowers, and conveyors.
• Install new equipment as necessary.
• Repair electrical equipment including motors, control wiring, motor control centers, variable frequency drives, sensors and all electrical controls.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as described in MVP software.
• Operate small and large machines and inspect products for quality.
• Use hand and power tools; stage and package finished products; lift up to 100 lbs.
• Read and understand orders, labels, and production schedules; overtime as required.
