Job summary

Dick's Sporting Goods Distribution Center in Dimock Township, PA is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician. You will troubleshoot and repair facility equipment, conveyors, PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics, while following PM standards and safety protocols.

Responsibilities include inventory reporting, training junior technicians, coordinating with outside vendors, and taking on additional duties to support DC operations. A technical degree and hands-on maintenance experience are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or diploma in mechanical or electrical trade.
• 3–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in an industrial setting.
• Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Familiar with PM procedures, LOTO, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to OSHA/LOTO safety requirements and safe work practices.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment and conveyors; document work.
• Report spare parts usage and inventory levels to leadership.
• Train junior technicians to raise performance levels.
• Collaborate with external vendors to complete DC projects safely and timely.
• Perform other duties to support DC operations as needed.

OVERVIEW

Shift: 2B: Tuesday - Friday 5:30p - 3:30a

Rate: $29.55/hr. + $1/hr. shift dif

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Adhere to all safety requirements including OSHA standards with regards to LOTO and safe work practices.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all equipment related to the facility and conveyance systems within the facility. Follow PM standards and document work performed for accurate record keeping in our asset management system. Areas of expertise must include PLC’s, conveyors, 3 phase electric, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, and any other related equipment.
• Accurately report spare parts inventory levels and daily parts usage to Maintenance leadership to help ensure spare parts inventory is maintained.
• Assist in teammate development by training junior technicians in order to elevate their performance level while troubleshooting and repairing any related assets.
• Work closely with outside vendors in order to complete projects within the DCs in a safe and timely manor.
• Take on other duties as needed to support the DC and it’s operational needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate's Degree - 2 year vocational technical certificate or degree preferably in a mechanical or electrical application.
• 3-5 years of experience.
• Welding, burning, cutting.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls.
• Familiar with DC-specific specialized software packages (ex. Crown PM, Gage) & equipment.
• Able to read & understand electrical mechanical building type drawings/schematics.
• Good safety awareness.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull & lift up to 75 lbs.
• Experience with LOTO.

Targeted Pay Range: $29.55 - $42.90. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, location, experience and position offered.
