Quanex Building Products Corp. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II-1st Shift in Orwell, Ohio to ensure reliable operation of equipment through preventative maintenance and continuous improvement.

The role offers an hourly rate of $25.93-$38.33, with a 7:00am-3:30pm shift and potential pay increase after a 90-day evaluation. The position requires 2-3 years of maintenance experience and knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, drives, and electrical components.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of maintenance experience.
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, drives, and electrical components preferred.
• Ability to pass Electrical fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance of equipment.
• Assist in implementation of new equipment and improvements.
• Diagnose failed components and safely work on voltages up to 480V.
• Coordinate updates with off-shift maintenance personnel.
