Job summary

VLS Environmental Solutions, LLC seeks a maintenance technician to install and inspect mechanical equipment across Waste, Railcar, and Marine Services divisions. You will perform repairs on pumps, blowers, and transport trailers while upholding strict safety standards and general maintenance discipline.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED with five years related experience; rotating equipment experience with pumps, seals, gear boxes and diesel engines is preferred.

Qualifications

Experience with rotating equipment including pumps, seals, gear boxes, and diesel engines preferred.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedures.

Responsibilities

Installs equipment and inspects/repairs mechanical equipment for defects and/or repairs pumps, blowers, and transport trailers.
Experience establishing Preventative Maintenance programs.
Operate machinery or mechanisms with inspection equipment.
Follow safety procedures in all maintenance tasks.
Maintain housekeeping in maintenance areas using company procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
May assist welding and pipefitting under supervision.
Must be physically capable of firefighting with training provided by the Company.

Job Summary

JOB DUTIES:
