Job summary

Gchp requires a Maintenance Tech I Manager to maintain and repair apartment buildings, systems, and fixtures, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and doors. This is a hands-on role with some supervisory duties.

Requirements: High school diploma or GED; EPA certification. Minimum three years in building maintenance and three years supervising a team. Valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, and willingness to travel between sites; on-call rotation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Repair minor electrical problems and high voltage issues.
• Perform carpentry and sheetrock repairs as needed.
• Troubleshoot and fix minor appliance failures.
• Monitor inventory and place replacement orders.
• Perform make-ready maintenance on vacant units and assist with painting.
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules for all systems.
• Inspect property for safety hazards and correct as needed.
• Complete resident work orders and follow-up on service requests.
• Travel to suppliers to pick up parcels and supplies.
