Job summary

Gulf Coast Housing Partnership, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Tech I to maintain the interior and exterior of apartment buildings, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and fixtures.

The role covers repairs, preventive maintenance, and on-site service across properties. The candidate will have a high school diploma or GED with EPA certification, at least three years in building maintenance and three years in supervising a team.

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate or GED equivalency with EPA certification.
• Minimum three years of maintenance and repair experience in buildings and systems.
• Minimum three years supervising a maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• Repair minor electrical problems and high voltage issues as needed.
• Perform carpentry, sheetrock repairs, and basic plumbing tasks.
• Troubleshoot and fix appliance failures and monitor supplies.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all building systems.
• Travel between sites and support residents with maintenance requests.
• Provide safe, reliable and timely upkeep of property.
