Job summary

Golden Nugget Las Vegas is seeking a General Maintenance professional to perform routine repairs and preventative maintenance across hotel facilities, ensuring all building systems operate efficiently and in compliance with property policies.

Responsibilities include maintenance of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and assisting other trades; on-call shifts for emergencies, holidays and weekends; and contributing to a safe, guest-focused environment with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Related degree preferred or accredited certifications.
• Minimum 2 years' experience.
• Effective communication skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.

General Maintenance is responsible for performing routine repairs and preventative maintenance to ensure building systems operate efficiently. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures.

• Accountable for all maintenance and repairs of the facility
• Knowledgeable in all aspects of Hotel Operations Maintenance
• Will assist all other trades and crafts with routine and emergency work assignments
• Ability to work on call shifts for emergencies, holidays, and weekends
• Knowledge of carpentry, air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, hazardous chemicals, general and preventative maintenance
• Responsible for maintaining, repairing, and replacing gaming table layouts
