Job summary

Tempur Sealy International is seeking a Maintenance Tech 1 in Crawfordsville, IN. The role focuses on maintaining HVAC-enabled manufacturing equipment, troubleshooting, and performing electromechanical maintenance to support continuous production.

Qualified candidates will have HVAC and electrical systems knowledge, PLC familiarity, and an AAS or equivalent; 1+ years of related experience preferred. The position requires strong safety adherence and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

General knowledge and background in HVAC, manufacturing equipment, and industrial electrical systems.
An Associates degree (AAS) or equivalent from a two-year technical school is preferred.
One (1) or more years of directly related experience.

Responsibilities

Follow safety guidelines and work as a fully-empowered team member to achieve zero incidents.
Observe devices and equipment in operation and troubleshoot problems.
Perform electromechanical maintenance functions and calibrations on analytical equipment and measurement devices.
Repair or replace defective parts and install functional modifications to devices.
Provide timely communication of important issues to supervisor and liaise with other functions.
