Job summary

Tempur Sealy International is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to install, maintain, and repair mechanical and electrical systems in mattress manufacturing. You will manage plant equipment, supervise staff, and coordinate with OEMs to ensure safe and timely production.

Ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in mechanical or electrical engineering, 2+ years of experience, CMMS familiarity, and PLC knowledge. This role is on-site in an industrial plant with competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering required.
• 2+ years of experience with manufacturing, mechanical and electrical systems (hydraulic, HVAC, pumps, piping, PLCs).
• Supervisory experience preferred but not required.
• Experience with CMMS and certifications like Arc flash/HAZWOPER is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, start-up, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical/electrical processes for mattress production.
• Manage plant equipment output, longevity, and aesthetics.
• Plan and delegate work requiring knowledge of electrical/mechanical theory and codes.
• Direct maintenance staff, contractors, and OEMs to ensure safety and timely production.
• Collaborate with Plant Director to meet production needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
