Job summary

TreeHouse Foods, Inc. in Ogden, UT is seeking a Maintenance Technician I in Production Maintenance to install, test, troubleshoot and maintain electrical automated and bulk delivery systems. Shifts run 5am–5pm, Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday. Pay starts at $37.34 per hour.

You will support engineering and maintenance, perform monthly PMs, and diagnose issues with PLC or relay logic while upholding food safety and quality standards in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

  • HS diploma or technical training preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and safety consciousness.

Responsibilities

  • Complete monthly PM of bulk delivery and scaling systems.
  • Troubleshoot process issues using PLC or relay logic.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot instrumentation (Transducers, RTDs, Thermocouples).
  • Replace and program VFDs and ensure food safety standards.

Job Description
Position Overview

Under the supervision of the Engineering and Maintenance Manager and Lead Controls Technician, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for assembly, installation, testing, troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical automated and bulk delivery systems.

This position will be on A or B Shift, which are 5am to 5pm, Sunday through Wednesday or Wednesday through Saturday.

Pay starting at $37.34.

Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to)
  • Complete monthly PM of bulk delivery and scaling systems
  • Troubleshoot process issues with on the job training using PLC or relay logic
  • Knowledge of instrumentation: Transducers, RTDs, Thermocouples, etc.
  • VFD replacement and programming
  • Responsible for food safety, food quality and food defense.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to learn new job related responsibilities
  • Must be flexible to work varying hours and required overtime
  • Must maintain timely and regular attendance
Physical demands
  • Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Education: HS Diploma, Trade school/technical training desired
