Job summary

TreeHouse Foods is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to oversee assembly, installation, testing, troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical automated and bulk delivery systems in our Ogden facility. Shift options run 5am–5pm, with overtime as needed.

Starting pay listed at $37.34/hour, with focus on safety, quality, and apparatus uptime. Under supervision of Engineering and Maintenance leadership, you will perform monthly PMs, address process issues, and support food safety and quality

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal, written communication skills.
• Attention to detail a must.

Responsibilities

• Complete monthly PM of bulk delivery and scaling systems.
• Troubleshoot process issues with on the job training using PLC or relay logic.
• Knowledge of instrumentation: Transducers, RTDs, Thermocouples, etc.
• VFD replacement and programming.
• Responsible for food safety, food quality and food defense.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Position Overview

Under the supervision of the Engineering and Maintenance Manager and Lead Controls Technician, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for assembly, installation, testing, troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical automated and bulk delivery systems.

This position will be on A or B Shift, which are 5am to 5pm, Sunday through Wednesday or Wednesday through Saturday.

Pay starting at $37.34.

Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to)

• Complete monthly PM of bulk delivery and scaling systems
• Troubleshoot process issues with on the job training using PLC or relay logic
• Knowledge of instrumentation: Transducers, RTDs, Thermocouples, etc.
• VFD replacement and programming
• Responsible for food safety, food quality and food defense.
• Other duties as assigned.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

• Work with minimal supervision
• Willingness to learn new job related responsibilities
• Must be flexible to work varying hours and required overtime
• Must maintain timely and regular attendance

Physical demands

• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills

• Education: HS Diploma, Trade school/technical training desired
