Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to supervisors and team members; assign tasks and ensure targets are met.
• Act as liaison among warehouse, plants, and corporate operations; identify process improvements.
• Promote safety and reinforce safe work practices across the team.
• Monitor timely and accurate receiving and shipping of inventory; resolve issues.
• Review warehouse invoices against pricing; support payables processing.
• Drive Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives; foster engagement and teamwork in CI/LEAN.
• Monitor worker performance and provide constructive feedback; administer corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure warehouse area is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and plant procedures, including applicable CBAs.
• Contribute to developing and executing strategic plant-wide initiatives.
• Oversee annual budget process and cost adherence for the warehouse.

Job Description: About the Role

As a Warehouse Manager, you will be a key player in shaping a supportive and engaging work environment for the Ogden, UT, plant, a manufacturer of quality baked and griddle products. Your role is responsible for leading warehouse operations, overseeing the annual budget process, and ensuring cost adherence for the assigned warehouse location. This role provides leadership to supervisors and team members, promotes a safe and effective workforce, supports corrective action implementation, and ensures compliance with inventory control processes while meeting accuracy goals.

You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to supervisors and team members, including assigning tasks and ensuring targets and schedules are met.
• Act as a liaison among the warehouse, company plants and warehouses, and corporate operations to address problems and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Actively participate in employee safety-related activities, fostering an environment that values and reinforces safe work practices.
• Monitor and resolve issues related to timely and accurate receiving and shipping of inventory.
• Review warehouse invoices against contracted pricing, approve invoices for payment, and support payables processing.
• Champion Continuous Improvement (CI) activities and foster an environment of employee engagement, empowerment, and teamwork, particularly in relation to CI, LEAN, and other change-driven areas.
• Monitor and evaluate worker performance and provide constructive feedback, including corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure the warehouse area is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
• Ensure compliance with company and plant policies and procedures, including collective bargaining agreements, if applicable.
• Contribute to the development and execution of strategic plant-wide initiatives.
• Oversee the annual budget process and support cost adherence for the assigned warehouse location.

Important Details

This is a full-time, on-site role on First Shift. Occasional flexibility is required to support alternate shifts. The anticipated compensation for this position ranges from $ 97,500 to $146,300 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics and business or organizational needs. For certain roles, the successful candidate may be eligible for annual discretionary merit compensation award, bonus and equity pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; bachelor’s degree in Logistics or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role, is required.
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS) is required.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, including the ability to provide guidance to supervisors and team members, are required.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, quality control procedures, inventory management, and budget/cost adherence is required.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills are required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
