NOVO Health Services in Louisville, KY is seeking a Maintenance Tech I to join our team at the Louisville facility. The role focuses on repairs, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of laundry and boiler room equipment to keep operations running smoothly.

You will perform mechanical, electrical, welding, and plumbing tasks, follow blueprints and safety procedures, and collaborate with management to support hospital partners with reliable service and safe operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED plus 2–4 years of related experience.
• Electrical, plumbing, mechanical, carpentry, hydraulic, pneumatic, and welding skills.
• Ability to read electrical, mechanical schematics, block diagrams and flow charts.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance as scheduled.
• Awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
• Must be computer literate and understand PLC principles.
• Have working knowledge of HAZMAT and OSHA requirements.
• Demonstrated customer service, leadership, and organization skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Repair, modify, or build parts for mechanical equipment as needed.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical issues promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance and daily startup procedures.
• Operate forklifts/manlifts with proper PPE.
• Inspect and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and components.
• Install and align drives, belts, pulleys, and bearings.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Ensure safety procedures and PPE compliance at all times.
• Collaborate with management on facility issues.
