Job summary

Nesco Resource is seeking Maintenance Technician I/II to support preventive maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment in a manufacturing environment in Phoenix, AZ. The role is suitable for entry to mid-level candidates, with responsibilities increasing based on experience and skill.

Duties include diagnosing issues, performing preventive maintenance on production machinery, troubleshooting motors, conveyors, gearboxes, and belts, and assisting with equipment changeovers,

Qualifications

• 1–5+ years of maintenance or related experience
• Basic to intermediate mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Basic electrical knowledge preferred
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is a plus
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Ability to work independently (Level II) or as part of a team (Level I)
• Strong attendance and work ethic

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems including motors, conveyors, gearboxes, belts, and bearings
• Assist with or independently diagnose basic electrical issues depending on experience level
• Support equipment setup, changeovers, and operational adjustments
• Read and interpret work instructions, manuals, and basic schematics
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and repairs
• Assist with equipment installations and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
