Job summary

BH Management, LLC is seeking a Service Technician I to assist in overseeing physical assets and ensuring resident satisfaction. You will diagnose problems, perform general repairs, and aid in apartment make-readies while supporting preventive maintenance programs.

Ideal candidates have 6 months to 1 year of maintenance experience, basic computer skills, and familiarity with HVAC. This role requires working knowledge of safety practices and a willingness to participate in on-call duties.

Qualifications

Six months to one-year general maintenance and safety experience.
Basic computer skills/knowledge required to perform job functions.
Regularly performs manual, task-oriented work under direct supervision.
High School or GED is a plus.
Working knowledge of HVAC; required to provide own hand tools.

Responsibilities

Uses industry-specific technology to diagnose problems and perform repairs to restore units to move-in ready condition.
Performs maintenance tasks, replacements, and upkeep of exterior grounds and common areas.
Troubleshoots HVAC and assists with make-readies.
Identifies hazards and reports them to the Community Manager and Service Manager; follows safety programs.
Maintains and secures property-issued tools and participates in on-call rotations.
