Job summary

Pillar Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician I for The Lyric in Seattle to perform preventive maintenance and upkeep of interiors and exteriors. You will handle work orders, assist with plumbing and electrical tasks, and paint common areas to keep properties in top condition.

Qualified candidates bring a GED or high school diploma, basic tools, strong communication, and a service-oriented mindset. This full-time role offers growth, benefits, and opportunities across Pillar properties.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
Ability to communicate effectively with residents, employees, and vendors.
Flexible schedule with regular and timely attendance.
Must have own hand tools.
Basic prep and painting abilities.
Results-driven with strong work ethic.
Strong customer service skills.
Adaptable with multiple priorities and deadlines.
Strong sense of integrity and ethics.

Responsibilities

Maintain apartments and common areas with preventative maintenance as the goal.
Complete written work orders promptly.
Assist with plumbing (sinks, toilets, bathtubs).
Assist with minor electrical work in units and common areas (switches, outlets, disposals).
Paint apartments and majority of common areas.
Assist with training and development of safety procedures and hazard communications.
Respond to community emergencies as requested.
Travel between local properties if applicable.
Other duties as assigned.
