Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking an Entry Level Maintenance Technician I in Florence, SC. Under supervision, you will perform machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on production equipment, following manuals and engineering specs.

Responsibilities include locating problems, measuring parts, and maintaining tool inventories, while ensuring safety and a clean work area. Valid driver's license required and overtime may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1-2 years of related maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyors and production machines.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions by observing and testing equipment.
• Locate and replace damaged parts using appropriate tools.
• Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
• Maintain inventories and document maintenance activities.
• Ensure safe, clean work environment and report irregularities.
