Job summary

TD SYNNEX in Romeoville, IL seeks a Maintenance Technician I to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment and facility assets within a logistics center, supporting safe operations and maintaining equipment quality.

You will learn conveyor systems, operate CMMS, and work with electrical systems from 24VDC to 480V 3‑phase, while keeping tools in good condition and following LOTO procedures to ensure a safe, compliant work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-3 years of industrial or commercial maintenance experience.
• Ability to replace and diagnose AC/DC motors, mechanical drives, and gearboxes under the guidance of an experienced technician.
• Basic mechanical repair experience and troubleshooting abilities to include bearings, chains, and belts.

Responsibilities

• Perform assisted and occasionally unassisted preventative maintenance and repairs on all equipment and building assets within the logistics center.
• Learn and support maintenance of conveyor systems using conveyor control software.
• Safely learn and work with electrical systems ranging from 24VDC to 480V 3-phase.
• Ability to assist with the removal and installation of equipment.
• Assist in maintaining all spare parts inventory.
• Learn and operate computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
