Job summary

Rockline Industries, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance on plant equipment in Arkansas.

The role requires 1 year of mechanical background or experience as an Advanced Operator, plus ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics. Responsibilities include assisting the Equipment Planner, completing rebuild work orders, and using EAM software for tracking work progress and materials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1 year mechanical background or 1 year as Advanced Operator.
• Experience maintaining/troubleshooting machine control systems.
• Knowledge of OSHA Industrial Safety standards and practices.
• Welding/fabricating/layout skills preferred.
• Good communication/documentation skills; ability to read and write English.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematic diagrams.
• Ability to work at heights up to 30 ft.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance.
• Provide labor to assist with routine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Respond to and address basic technical issues.
• Assist the Equipment Planner and Continuous Improvement Technician.
• Complete assigned rebuild work orders.
• Utilize maintenance EAM software to track all work progress and materials to ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Identify and communicate parts needed to supervisor or Parts Room Coordinator.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) activities.
• Participate in process development activities and projects.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects.
• Demonstrate commitment to Rockline’s RRITE values of Renew, Respect, Integrity, Teamwork and Excellence.
• Associates have a direct and important role in ensuring that all work is performed in a safe manner. Effectiveness in carrying out this responsibility is part of each associate’s essential accountabilities.

• Do everything necessary to ensure facility is always in a clean, “tour ready” status.

Required Skills:

Must possess a high school diploma

• Must have excellent safety and attendance records
