Job summary

Rockline Industries in Arkansas is hiring a DC Facilities Helper on A-Shift (6:00AM-2:30PM). The role emphasizes cleaning, maintenance and safe operation of basic tools within a mostly indoor environment. You will support plant operations and ensure areas remain orderly and safe.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, some facility maintenance experience, and a willingness to obtain forklift certification. Compensation starts at $15.10 per hour with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all areas of the facility, including restrooms.
• Collect trash and maintain the trash compactor area.
• Operate floor scrubber to keep floors clean.
• Monitor plant and grounds cleanliness; address problem areas.
• Handle and bale recycled materials.
• Work plant shutdowns to meet project deadlines.
• Assist facilities technicians when needed.

Title: DC Facilities Helper

Shift: A - Shift; 6:00AM-2:30PM

Compensation & Benefits:

• Starting at $15.10 per hour

Essential Accountabilities:

• Cleaning and maintaining all areas of the facility including restrooms.
• Collection of trash in all areas and maintenance of the trash compactor area.
• Operation of the floor scrubber to maintain all floors.
• Monitor plant and grounds cleanliness and correct problem areas.
• Responsible for handling and baling recycled materials.
• Will be required to work plant shutdowns to meet project deadlines during available time.
• Assist facilities techs when needed.

• Associates have a direct and important role in ensuring that all work is performed in a safe manner. Effectiveness in carrying out this responsibility is part of each associate's essential accountabilities.

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must have some experience maintaining a large facility
• Knowledge in construction, plumbing, operation of power tools and light equipment a plus
• Forklift experience a plus but not required. Obtaining certification will be required.
• Must be a motivated self-starter and able to manage time while working alone.
• Must pay close attention to detail
• Must be able to work as a team player
• Must be able to follow instructions well
• Must maintain excellent attendance record
• Must be able to pass a functional capacity exam for facilities tech including pushing, pulling and lifting of 50# on a continual basis while baling.
• Limited travel may occasionally be required
• Mostly inside work, some outside. Work environment can vary from both outdoors to indoors and from very hot to very cold (winter).
• Will work around machinery, noise 30% of the time
