Job summary

Rockline Industries in Booneville, AR is seeking a Maintenance Tech I to support routine troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance on our production equipment. The role runs an E shift from 5:45PM to 6:00AM and offers a 3–4 day work week with 36–48 hours and comprehensive benefits.

You will work with the Equipment Planner and CI Technician, handle PM activities, and participate in continuous improvement projects while upholding Rockline’s RRITE values of Renew, Respect, Integrity,

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma and clean safety/attendance record.
• At least 1 year mechanical background or 1 year as Advanced Operator.
• Experience maintaining/troubleshooting machine control systems.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics; read/write English.
• Welding/fabricating/layout skills preferred.
• Forklift certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance.
• Provide labor to assist with routine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Respond to and address basic technical issues.
• Assist the Equipment Planner and Continuous Improvement Technician.
• Complete assigned rebuild work orders.
• Use maintenance EAM software to track progress and materials.
• Identify parts needed and communicate to supervisor.
• Perform scheduled PM activities.
• Participate in process development and improvement projects.
• Contribute to RRITE values.
• Ensure work is safe and facility is tour-ready.
• Contribute to cooperative teamwork and other duties as needed.

Essential Accountabilities

• Perform routine troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance.
• Provide labor to assist with routine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Respond to and address basic technical issues.
• Assist the Equipment Planner and Continuous Improvement Technician.
• Complete assigned rebuild work orders.
• Utilize maintenance EAM software to track all work progress and materials to ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Identify and communicate parts needed to supervisor or Parts Room Coordinator.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) activities.
• Participate in process development activities and projects.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects.

Required Skills

• Must possess a high school diploma
• Must have excellent safety and attendance records
• Must have a minimum of 1 year of mechanical background or 1 year as an Advanced Operator.
• Basic experience maintaining/troubleshooting machine control systems required
• Knowledge of OSHA Industrial Safety standards and practices
• Welding/fabricating/layout skills preferred
• Good communication/documentation skills, ability to read and write English
• Ability to read blueprints and schematic diagrams
• Ability to work at heights up to 30 ft.
• Machine Tool experience a plus
• Basic computer skills required
• Forklift certification required
