Job summary

TRG Management is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to maintain the appearance, functionality, and safety of our apartment communities. The role requires troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and timely completion of maintenance requests.

You will work on building systems, prep vacant units, and assist with vendor coordination, while delivering excellent resident service. Minimum 2 years in maintenance is preferred, with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry capabilities.

Qualifications

• We require a high school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of apartment maintenance or related experience.
• Proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliance repair is essential.
• Carpentry, drywall and painting skills are important for preparing vacant apartments.
• EPA Universal (or Type II) certification is preferred; HVAC certification is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, organization and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests promptly and professionally.
• Perform preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents (painting, drywall, appliance installs).
• Troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, doors, lighting fixtures.
• Maintain common areas, grounds, and building exteriors.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies per on-call rotation.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, functionality, and safety of the apartment community while providing exceptional service to our residents.
