Job summary

TRG Management is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team for our residential communities. You will assist with apartment turns, perform preventive maintenance, and handle repairs to keep properties safe and comfortable.

Ideal candidates have at least three years of hands-on maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, or related fields, with strong communication and supervisory abilities. EPA or CFC certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years of hands-on maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC or related fields.
• EPA or CFC certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist with apartment turns for new residents, including painting, flooring, repairs, housekeeping, etc.
• Handle hands-on maintenance of the property, including inspection, repair, and general upkeep of apartment homes and interior/exterior areas.
• Act as a team leader by delegating, supervising, directing and assisting the general maintenance staff.
• Install and repair electrical systems, appliances, electrical and HVAC equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance, record findings in the maintenance log, and respond to on-call emergency service as required.
• Collaborate with general maintenance staff to keep grounds free of trash and debris.
• Monitor and maintain community mechanical equipment such as water heaters, HVAC units, etc.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctioning apparatus and replace faulty components.

• Prepare and assist with apartment turns for new residents, including painting, flooring, repairs, housekeeping, etc.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Supervisory experience (preferred).
• EPA or CFC certification.
