Job summary

Integral Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our California communities. You’ll perform maintenance and housekeeping duties around the grounds, buildings, and units, completing service requests in a timely, cost-efficient manner.

The role requires one year of maintenance experience, the ability to be on call, and a working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems and safety regulations, with strong communication and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• General understanding of systems including plumbing, electrical, mechanical and code compliance.
• OSHA, fire prevention, life and safety regulations knowledge.
• Ability to respond to emergency calls outside of scheduled hours.

• Good judgment, problem solving and decision making.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties around the community grounds, buildings, and units as assigned.
• Complete service requests for repair and maintenance of grounds, buildings, apartment homes, equipment and vehicles in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
• Perform tasks such as fixing wall/floor coverings, repairing furniture/fixtures, basic plumbing, minor electrical repairs, appliance repair, painting and refurbishing, HVAC systems, carpet and hard surface maintenance, and preparing rooms as needed.

Our community is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Schedule - Sunday through Thursday from 9:00 am - 5:30pm

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities

• Performing maintenance and housekeeping duties in and around the community grounds as assigned.
• Performs routine maintenance duties to complete all service requests for repair and maintenance of all grounds, buildings, apartment homes, equipment and vehicles in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
• Routine maintenance duties may include: fixing wall and/or floor coverings; repairing furniture and fixtures; performing basic plumbing work; performing minor electrical repairs; repairing appliances; painting and refurbishing projects, working with heating and air systems, refrigeration systems, carpet and hard surface maintenance and “make ready” rooms as assigned.
