Job summary

Integral Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our California communities. The role involves hands-on maintenance and housekeeping across grounds and buildings, ensuring safety and timely service requests are completed.

You will handle repairs, basic plumbing and electrical tasks, and contribute to making residents’ living spaces comfortable and safe. The position requires at least 1 year of maintenance experience, on-call availability, and a solid understanding of safety

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of maintenance experience.
  • Ability to be on call when needed.
  • General understanding of plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems and code compliance.
  • Know-how of OSHA, fire prevention and life-safety regulations.
  • Ability to respond to emergencies outside scheduled hours.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Good judgment, problem solving and decision making.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and housekeeping tasks around community grounds as assigned.
  • Complete service requests for repair and maintenance of grounds, buildings, apartments, equipment and vehicles in a timely, cost-efficient manner.
  • Carry out basic tasks such as wall/floor repairs, furniture repairs, plumbing, minor electrical, appliance repair, painting and refurbishing; assist with HVAC, refrigeration, carpet and hard-surface maintenance, and make-ready rooms.

Our community is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities
  • Performing maintenance and housekeeping duties in and around the community grounds as assigned.
  • Performs routine maintenance duties to complete all service requests for repair and maintenance of all grounds, buildings, apartment homes, equipment and vehicles in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
  • Routine maintenance duties may include: fixing wall and/or floor coverings; repairing furniture and fixtures; performing basic plumbing work; performing minor electrical repairs; repairing appliances; painting and refurbishing projects, working with heating and air systems, refrigeration systems, carpet and hard surface maintenance and “make ready” rooms as assigned.
Qualifications
  • One year maintenance experience.
  • Ability to be on call if needed.
  • Has a general understanding of systems including: plumbing, electrical, mechanical and code compliance.
  • Possess a general understanding of OSHA, fire prevention, life and safety regulations.
  • Ability to respond to emergency calls outside of scheduled work hours.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication.
  • Competent in organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills.
