Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking an energetic, entry level Maintenance Technician to join our team. This hands-on role offers daily pay and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance options, 401k matching, PTO, and more.

You will oversee property grounds, public areas and hotel guest rooms, performing preventative maintenance and responding to work orders. We value hospitality, respect, and authentic service, and provide a supportive environment designed to foster career

Qualifications

• Three (2) years in a hotel maintenance position preferred.
• One year of college or trade school equivalent in mechanical, electrical and/or technical disciplines preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the property grounds, public areas and hotel guest rooms
• Conducts preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodations
• Check fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation; maintain an adequate supply of spare parts and light bulbs
• Responds to maintenance orders in a timely manner
• Completed daily rounds, identifying and reporting problems
• Perform various other duties as assigned

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of three (2) years in a hotel maintenance position preferred
• Preferred but not necessary, one (1) year of college or trade school equivalent in a mechanical, electrical, and/or technical disciplines
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general carpentry

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Basic math skills
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
