Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking an energetic, hands-on Maintenance Engineer to join our team. You will oversee the property grounds, public areas and guest rooms, performing preventative maintenance, checking fixtures and responding to maintenance orders in a timely manner.

Ideal candidates have HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry knowledge, with 2–3 years in hotel maintenance. We offer Daily Pay, comprehensive benefits, 401(k) with company match, PTO, holiday pay, and a team-focused

Qualifications

• HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry knowledge required.
• 2–3 years in hotel maintenance preferred.
• Basic math skills and strong written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the property grounds, public areas and guest rooms.
• Conducts preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodations.
• Check fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation; maintain an adequate supply of spare parts and light bulbs.
• Responds to maintenance orders in a timely manner.
• Fulfills work orders in a timely manner.
• Completed daily rounds, identifying and reporting problems.
• Perform various other duties as assigned

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversees the property grounds, public areas and hotel guest rooms

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of three (2) years in a hotel maintenance position preferred
• Preferred but not necessary, one (1) year of college or trade school equivalent in a mechanical, electrical, and/or technical disciplines
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general carpentry

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Basic math skills
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
