Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group in the United States is seeking an energetic Maintenance Engineer to join our team. You will oversee hotel upkeep, preventative maintenance, and rapid response to maintenance requests to ensure guest comfort.

Ideal candidates bring 2–3 years of hotel maintenance experience, HVAC/plumbing/electrical knowledge, and a hands-on approach. We offer competitive benefits, Daily Pay, health options, and a supportive environment to grow within our growing portfolio.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two to three years in a hotel maintenance position preferred.
• One year of college or trade school equivalent in a mechanical, electrical, and/or technical discipline is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Oversees property grounds, public areas and hotel guest rooms.
• Conducts preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodations.
• Check fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation; maintain spare parts and bulbs.
• Responds to maintenance orders in a timely manner.
• Fulfills work orders promptly.
• Completes daily rounds and reports problems.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responds to maintenance orders in a timely manner

• Perform various other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of three (2) years in a hotel maintenance position preferred
• Preferred but not necessary, one (1) year of college or trade school equivalent in a mechanical, electrical, and/or technical disciplines
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general carpentry

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Basic math skills
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
