Job summary

JBS USA is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for Day Shift, Monday – Friday, to perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment and support all maintenance activities. The role emphasizes safety, adherence to procedures, and responsive problem solving to keep production lines running smoothly.

Responsibilities include completing scheduled and unscheduled tasks, assisting other plant areas during major issues, and ensuring documentation and safety compliance across maintenance operations.

Qualifications

• Performs preventative maintenance procedures on equipment as assigned by maintenance supervisors/lead hand.
• Completes all assigned tasks scheduled and unscheduled as directed by supervisor.
• Assists in day-to-day operations of the maintenance department and monitors areas to ensure safety and compliance.

Includes but is not limited to the assistance of all maintenance areas of the plant, insuring that all assigned areas of the maintenance department areas are being monitored and documented as required by safety, food safety, company policy, & procedures
