Job summary

JBS USA in Utah is seeking a maintenance mechanic for the night shift (Mon–Fri). You will ensure maintenance activities are performed safely, conduct preventative maintenance on equipment, and assist other plant areas during major issues.

The role requires completing all scheduled and unscheduled tasks as directed by supervision, supporting daily maintenance operations, and documenting safety and food safety procedures in accordance with company policy.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience in a food processing environment.
• Safety-conscious with ability to follow procedures.
• Able to work night shift and nights, Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance functions safely and in accordance with procedures.
• Carry out preventative maintenance on assigned equipment per supervisor.
• Assist other plant areas during major problems as needed.
• Complete tasks as scheduled or directed by supervisor.
• Support day-to-day maintenance operations and document safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• This position ensures all aspects of the maintenance mechanic functions are performed in a safety and acceptable method.
• Performs preventative maintenance procedures on all equipment that is assigned by the maintenance supervisors/lead hand.
• Assist other areas of the plant when major problems occur

Functional Requirements

• Completes all assigned tasks scheduled and unscheduled work as directed by supervisor
• Assist in the day to day operations of the maintenance department. Includes but is not limited to the assistance of all maintenance areas of the plant, insuring that all assigned areas of the maintenance department areas are being monitored and documented as required by safety, food safety, company policy, & procedures
