Job summary

JBS USA maintenance team is seeking a skilled technician to ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently. You will perform tests, routine servicing, and basic repairs while maintaining accurate records and coordinating with production staff.

Expect responsibilities including inspections, log updates, and collaboration with outside service providers as needed, with emphasis on safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education/Certification: High school diploma or equivalent; safety training may be required.
• Knowledge: Basic mechanics and machine testing procedures.
• Knowledge: Understanding of equipment maintenance requirements.
• Problem solving: Solid analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Communication: Good oral communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Runs tests to ensure equipment operates properly and parts meet specs.
• Schedules, cleans, oils, fills tanks, and adjusts equipment for smooth operations.
• Performs basic repairs; refers complex issues to the Manager.
• Identifies inefficiencies and suggests improvements.
• Maintains production equipment by regular inspections.
• Updates maintenance logs and completes outside service paperwork.
• Keeps area clean, organized, and compliant with safety rules.
• Communicates area status to management and coordinating staff.
