Republic Services in Salt Lake City is seeking a Maintenance Technician C to perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks. You will work under supervision, maintain a single fleet with advanced vehicles, and support drivers on their routes.

The role emphasizes basic vehicle systems knowledge, routine maintenance, and repair with opportunities for training and career growth in a stable industry.

Competenze

• Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program is a plus but not required.
• ASE Certification is preferred.
• T8 PM is a plus but not required.
• 1-3 years of experience in maintenance.
• Ability to follow SOPs and troubleshoot common faults.
• Valid Driver's License is preferred.

Mansioni

• Maintains basic knowledge of a vehicle's mechanical and electrical systems for preventive maintenance and some repair.
• Perform oil changes, fluid replenishment, light repairs, tire changes, and basic electrical work.
• Conduct visual inspections to identify equipment issues and malfunctions; follow company training.
