Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician C to perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks under close supervision. This role supports drivers on routes and works with state-of-the-art equipment in a safe, stable environment.

The position emphasizes basic knowledge of vehicle systems and following procedures, with training opportunities for growth. 1–3 years of experience and a valid driver's license are preferred, and certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Certified diesel maintenance program is a plus but not required.
• ASE Certification T8 PM is a plus but not required.
• 1–3 years of experience.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and troubleshoot common faults.
• Valid Driver’s License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks.
• Maintain and repair vehicles and related mechanical and electrical systems.
• Complete applicable training programs and follow SOPs.
• Support drivers and service routes with reliable equipment.
