Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Shop Technician C to perform preventive maintenance on a range of diesel and non-diesel equipment. Under the supervision of senior technicians, you will inspect mechanical and electrical systems, perform routine services, and assist with repairs.

Qualifications

• Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program is a plus but not required.
• ASE Certification T8 PM is a plus but not required.
• 1-3 years of experience in maintenance or repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs on diesel and non-diesel equipment.
• Inspect vehicle mechanical and electrical systems and perform oil changes, fluids replenishment, and tire changes.
• Assist with light electrical work and diagnose common faults under supervision.
• Follow standard operating procedures and complete company training programs.
