Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Technician B for the Day Shift to maintain and repair a range of industrial equipment, ensuring safety, reliability and product quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will work hands-on with mechanical systems, hydraulic/pneumatic components, and preventive maintenance, while mentoring junior technicians and collaborating with operations to reduce downtime and improve safety.

Qualifications

• Strong background in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
• Proven mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools and precision measuring instruments.
• Experience documenting work and parts in CMMS or basic computer systems.
• Analytical problem-solving and math skills for maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on maintenance and repairs on a wide range of industrial equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment issues impacting safety, quality, and productivity.
• Perform preventive maintenance, lubrication, inspections, and part replacements.
• Support equipment installations, modifications, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations to ensure safe, efficient execution.
