Job summary

IPEX is seeking a Maintenance Tech B based in Pineville, NC to support machinery and facility maintenance while ensuring EH&S compliance and high product quality. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, read blueprints and schematics, and lead small maintenance tasks with minimal supervision.

The role requires advanced welding (Stick, MIG, TIG), rigging, pipe fitting, and at least five years of experience in industrial maintenance.

Qualifications

• Requires specialized technical knowledge in electricity, hydraulics, pneumatics, and theoretical mechanics.
• Must have 5 years previous Electrical, Mechanical, Pneumatic, Piping, and Welding experience.
• Must be able to read mechanical blueprints, sketches, and electrical schematic diagrams.
• Requires ability to repair and maintain all plant equipment and diagnose operational problems in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical phases with limited instruction or supervision.
• Must have advanced knowledge of operation of shop fabrication equipment.
• Requires limited ability to instruct and lead others.
• Advanced welding capabilities with Stick, Mig, and TIG
• Advanced understanding of rigging
