Job summary

IPEX is seeking a Maintenance Tech B to join our Pineville, NC plant. The role focuses on supporting machinery and facility maintenance while prioritizing safety, product quality, and cost control.

You will perform routine and non-routine maintenance, read blueprints and schematics, and collaborate across departments to keep production running smoothly. Candidates should have five years of electrical/mechanical experience.

Qualifications

• Requires specialized technical knowledge in one or more fields of electricity, hydraulics, pneumatics, and theoretical mechanics.
• Must have (5) years previous Electrical, Mechanical, Pneumatic, Piping, and Welding experience.
• Must be able to read mechanical blueprints, sketches, and electrical schematic diagrams.
• Requires ability to repair and maintain all plant equipment and diagnose operational problems in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical phases with limited instruction or supervision.
• Advanced welding capabilities with (Stick, Mig, and TIG)
• Advanced understanding of rigging
• Advanced Pipe fitting

Responsibilities

• Support and comply with EH&S policies and procedures.
• Maintain acceptable housekeeping and safe working conditions.
• Inspect and report potential unsafe conditions and report accidents/incidents.
• Use protective equipment and report issues with equipment.
• Comply with work instructions and emergency procedures.
• Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.
