Job summary

IPEX in Pineville, NC is seeking a Maintenance Tech B to support machinery and facility maintenance with a strong emphasis on safety and quality. The role requires diagnosing and repairing electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, reading blueprints, and performing welding tasks within EH&S guidelines.

You will work under the Maintenance Supervisor, with opportunities to lead small teams, follow ISMS procedures, and participate in ongoing training while contributing to cost

Qualifications

• 5 years of Electrical, Mechanical, Pneumatic, Piping and Welding experience.
• Ability to read mechanical blueprints, sketches and electrical schematic diagrams.
• Advanced welding capabilities (Stick, MIG, TIG).

Responsibilities

• Support machinery and facility maintenance activities following EH&S/ISMS.
• Inspect and report unsafe/hazardous conditions; participate in investigations.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams; diagnose equipment problems.
• Repair and maintain plant equipment across electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
• Lead others when required and assist with training; ensure safety compliance.
