Job summary

IPEX Inc. Pineville, NC, is hiring a Maintenance Tech B to support machinery and facility maintenance with a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

This role requires hands-on expertise in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, piping, and welding, with the ability to read schematics and blueprints and perform advanced welding tasks. You will work under EH&S guidelines, participate in safety committees, and collaborate across departments to uphold plant goals.

Qualifications

• Requires 5 years of Electrical, Mechanical, Pneumatic, Piping and Welding experience.
• Must be able to read mechanical blueprints, sketches, and electrical schematic diagrams.
• Requires advanced welding capabilities (Stick, MIG, TIG).
• Ability to repair and maintain plant equipment and diagnose problems in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Support and perform maintenance to maximize safety, product quality, production output, and cost control.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to service equipment.
• Repair, calibrate and maintain plant machinery and systems across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic domains.
• Lead or assist with rigging and fabrication tasks as needed.
• Adhere to EH&S policies and participate in safety and training activities.
